I'm very glad that you have taken the time to visit Pangaean Paleontology, a forum through which we can create a new, unified aesthetic community by drawing upon our respective pasts and disparate talents and interests. More likely than not, if you're reading this message, I have spoken to you about an arts collective, either a rural motel with separate studio spaces, or a more urban setting with a musical and theatrical performance space, gallery, and attached restaurant/bar. A space such as this does not yet exist under our control, but I hope that through continued discussion in this forum, we will continue to tend the seeds that have already been planted, bringing a crop to harvest instead of leaving it on the vine pecked by birds and drying in the sun.

I must admit that I am not a blogging professional. Therefore, if someone has an idea for a way to make the blog snappier or more efficient, I am totally open to them carrying this through. Some ideas in this vein might include posting the names and contact information of our primary contributors, or developing different threads of conversation in different places, so that each blogger can catch up on or contribute to a specific line of discussion, and we can collectively have an organized record of our discussions to refer back to.

I'm really excited to get this thing started, for it has been on the mental drawing board for some time now. I look forward to hearing from each of you and getting a roaring discussion going. I do foresee our number of contributors growing in the future, but for now, I must ask that we keep it to us first few, giving us a chance to make checking and contributing to this blog a regular part of our lives, and to get the blog caught up to the point that our conversations have made it.
